Alarms

An Alarm is produced when a metered value falls outside of a pre-defined tolerance, for example missing data or zero usage.

Alarms raised will focus attention onto exceptions within the data after it has been imported. When the list of raised Alarms has been acknowledged and the issues acted upon, data accuracy is assured for analysis and reporting.

Why Use Alarms?

Key Messages:

• Alarms check incoming data (not existing data)

• Alarm settings are configured against individual Meters

• Multiple Alarms are configured using the Quickset feature

• The priority of an Alarm governs the email forwarding rules

• The Raise Every feature will limit the volume of alarms raised per event

• Quickset alarms can only be assigned as Raise Every 1 day

• Applying a Report will attach a document to the forwarded email
