What are Benchmarks?
A Benchmark is a representative value that allows fair comparison of similar building types. The Benchmark values are taken from published standards.
Why use Benchmarking?
Benchmarking is used to compare Energy use between similar buildings that cannot be compared like-for-like. The Benchmarking will identify the Energy Performance of buildings.

Benchmark Data Analysis is formed from the parameters selected and draws on all the configurations, data and standards before results can be presented. | |
Benchmark Standards are Benchmarks that can be applied to the configurations of each Site. The Benchmarks display as a list which is managed from the buttons displayed below. The Standards are identified by their Description. The Standards are defined by entering values for the number of occupancy hours and a radio-button selection to calculate the Target using area or volume. | |
Benchmark Data is the type and consumption values that each Benchmark applies during the calculation of the Targets. Benchmark Data shows a list which is managed from the buttons displayed below. The records are identified by their ‘Benchmark Standard’ association. The Type is selected from the list and defines the Benchmark Target’s aim. The choice will define how the statistical average data will be produced when the Target Data is calculated. |
