Alarm
Alarms are created to check the Metered Data for certain criteria such as Missing Data, Flat Lining, Trends etc. Once the Alarms are configured, an Alarm is raised if the Data is outside of the set criteria.
What Pages are available in the Alarms Menu?

Raised Alarms are created when certain criteria is met on the Alarm configuration Page. These Alarms can then be worked through and Acknowledged or Removed. | |
This Page allows you to create Alarms based on your criteria, such as Missing Data, Flat Lining, Trends etc. Once created, an Alarm is then raised and viewable on the Raised Page. | |
Quickset Alarms allow multiple Meters to have Alarms configured for a limited set of Rules. All Quickset Alarms use Forwarding Rules when raised. All Alarm configuration will be automatically set to raise every 1 day - this is not configurable. | |
A Forwarding Rule enables the system to send Email notifications for each Alarm raised, depending on how the Forwarding Rule has been set up. | |
A Distribution List is a group of email addresses for Sigma to send Email notifications to when an Alarm is raised. | |
A Profile Alarm is a type of Alarm which can be configured to fit in with typical usage patterns, based on the time of day and the current date range. The Alarm can be configured to stipulate the maximum and / or minimum values allowed for defined time periods. | |
