An Organisation contains a wide variety of roles and responsibilities. The Security module facilitates this by acknowledging a hierarchy of User access to the system. Each User’s access can be limited against the Tree View objects and restricted in terms of the module functions permitted. The administration of Users is applied as a form of system governance.
User Accounts delegate roles to individuals accessing the system. Each account can be limited for tree view access and functions. The Administrator User level governs the allocations of access and functions in the hierarchical list of user levels.
Every User of the system is subject to the EULA (End User License Agreement) which much be read and accepted before the first login session will allow access.
Users are licensed as either Express or Advanced application access. Express application access is a limited set of functions for basic Monitoring and Targeting. An Advanced User can have Express application access too but the license will count against the Advanced total restriction.
System licenses for User types are issued as one of two alternates, concurrent or named. A concurrent User license restriction, limits the number of users simultaneously logged in (i.e. an unlimited number of user accounts). A named User license restriction, limits the number of User accounts listed in the system (i.e. one account per individual for use at any time). Express and Advanced Users are either type, exclusively. It is possible to have Concurrent Express users and Named Advanced users (and vice versa). It is however, not possible to license Concurrent Express and Named Express users (or Concurrent Advanced and Named Advanced) on the same license.
